He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
He is survived by his wife, Maria del Carmen of Corpus Christi; 2 sisters; 1 brother; 10 sons; 3 daughters; 1 stepson; 9 daughter-in-law’s; 36 grandkids; 2 son-in-law’s; 4 great-grandkids; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was involved in several organizations. He was Scout Master in Troop 23, Knights of Columbus 4th degree of council #11107, a proud member of the American Legion Post 364 served as 1st Vice Commander, 2nd Vice Commander Adjutant and the Honor Guard, member of the 40/8 Catholic War Veterans, a member of a boys club called Duprees Boys Club, Retired US Army 24 years, a member of the Trinitarian at Christ the King Catholic Church and a proud husband of 24 years marriage.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with Interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
