Adan Garcia (78), Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather went home to God and to reunite with his mother Manuela Villareal (Mamie) on October 25th, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Adan was born on September 28, 1944 in Mission, TX. He grew up in Corpus Christi, TX and graduated from West Oso High School. He was a proud Army Veteran.
He married Lupe Garcia in 1974, they had a wonderful happy life. They loved to dance, sing, travel, gamble and spend time at the game rooms laughing and enjoying each other’s company.
He was an avid golfer and belonged to the Pan American Golf Association for many years. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends every week.
He retired from Asarco Refinery in 2002.
He adored his grand-children (Nick Garcia, Hunter Radke, Haylee Radke, Lexi, Katelyn and Michael Perez) and great-grand-children (Luka, Lily, Aleeya, Arianna, Alyssa and Ray)
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lupe Garcia; Brother, Ignacio (Nacho) Garcia (Mary Alice); Children: Adan Garcia Jr. (Rachel), Lisa Garcia, Elaina Perez (Martin), David Amaya (Sandy), and Hopi Amaya.
Pallbearers: Michael Perez, Nick Garcia, Ray Garcia, Hunter Radke, Jesse Gomez and Mark Olivarez
Honorary Pallbearers: Ralph Ramirez, Alfredo Guerra, Homero Gonzalez
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A visitation for Adan will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A vigil service and rosary will occur Monday, November 7, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 9:30 AM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will occur Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
