"Mrs. Sheldon", Ruth, was a spectacular friend to my mother these past years. The two of them , being the same age, had much in common, and took great care in making sure each other was well physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  My mother fondly appreciated their friendship, often telling me lovely stories of kindness' "Leah's" mother had done during the week for her;  A meal from the temple , bringing luscious   fruit from her trees...
Ruth called me several times to be sure my mother was okay, because she wasn't answering her phone .  
         Oh that I could have such a friend should I be blessed to live until age 89!
     She is the epitome of kindness. May her family be comforted and at peace knowing she was a great woman who raised a lovely family and was a devoted friend to many.

I am deeply sadden and it will be very hard to get over such a great loss of my special friend that often took the place of my  mother while my wife Valorie and I had the pleasure of spending time with Ruth.
I used to rent a room from Ruth for many years before I moved out and gotten married, and within that time she was so gracious and full of sprit, I was so fortunate to have gotten to known Ruth and her family and I am still in shock. My our Lord be comfort Ruth in joy praises and may He comfort the Sheldon Family with grace and Love. I will always remember such a beautiful women for every, miss you Ruth. Your friend Van Walker.
