John "Pike" C. Jarratt

John C. Jarratt (Pike) passed away on April 19, 2023 in Summerlin, Nevada. He was a steadfast family man who is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diana Jarratt, daughters Summer and Rissa, and grand-daughter, Holly.

John was born in Springfield, Missouri on May 20,1949 to parents Jack and Mildred Jarratt. He learned from his parents a fierce work ethic and gained early exposure to clothing sales at the family's business, Jarratt Men & Boys Store.

He was passionate about sports (including Green Bay Packers football and anything his daughters played) and earned the nickname "Pike" on the basketball court. Later, he loved walking daily with Diana.

After graduating from Drury University, John was a successful menswear sales executive for over 45 years. His career took his family across the southwest and California, an adventure in itself. He ran on coffee and was a true road warrior. Importantly, John was an impactful mentor to many and a trusted partner to his accounts. His daughters each followed career paths in sales.

Above all, John loved his family in a generous, tender, and selfless way. He will be deeply missed.

A funeral service followed by graveside service for John will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
