David E. Erickson

David E. Erickson, age 92, of San Juan Capistrano, peacefully passed away on February 14th, 2016, when God decided to add one more angel to heaven. His caring and gracious spirit, sense of humor, helpful nature and keen interest in others will be missed.

Through his determination, hard work and guiding light, he was a driving force for the inception and overall success of Crest Coating, Inc., still a successful family owned and operated business today.

His well deserved retirement years allowed him to travel and once again enjoy golf, helping neighbors, while still devoting time and energy to his family and country club committees.

Loving husband of Dorothy A. Erickson (deceased 2002). Beloved father of Michael D. (Pam) Erickson and Bonnie L. (Michael) George. Beloved grandfather of Rene A. Erickson and Jeffrey M.(Mollie) Erickson. Beloved great grandfather of Ava, Scarlett and Ethan Erickson. Loving companion of Shirley Barrett (from 2002 until her passing in 2013). Loving brother in law of Norma Geil (deceased 2015) and Helen Schrock of Seattle.

The family is grateful for all the care that Atria San Juan Capistrano and Verona Court of Laguna Hills provided for their father.

There will be a private immediate family memorial service on 3/10/16 at noon.
