Wayne Primeau

PRIMEAU, Wayne Claude – It is with deep sadness the family announces his peaceful passing at his home surrounded by family on Thursday August 18, 2022 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Lorraine T Primeau (nee Lalonde). Loving father of Jennifer Gaudreau (Nee Primeau). Cherished Grandfather of Branden (Celine Pilon) Gosling, Alexander Gaudreau, Sam Gaudreau and Shane Gaudreau. Great Grandfather to Aleya Gosling. Dear brother to Donna (Gordon) Thompson, Terry (late Sue Kinsler) Primeau Valerie (Sid Simpson) Degray, Sheila (Jerry) Dummond and Robert (Pauline) Primeau. Wayne was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Germaine Primeau (nee Benoit), and by siblings Lionel (Lucille) Primeau, Richard and Diane Primeau, Carole (Guy) Lauzon, Judy (Rheal) Fournier, Pauline (Gary) Becume, Linda and Reo Andre, and Joyce (Vic Smith) Primeau. Sadly also missed by his in laws and his colleagues at Laframboise Group and by many cousins, nieces and nephews where he will be warmly remembered for his generosity in giving of his time knowledge and effort to help anyone who was in need. He will also be remembered as an avid gardener and nature lover.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Notre Dame Century on Friday September 2, 2022 at 11:30am. A celebration of Wayne's life will follow at Quinn’s Inn 17329 Kings Rd & Highway 138, St Andrews West, ON. Everyone is welcome to attend. Because of his love of nature and his practice of planting a tree for each of his loved ones on birth or a special milestone in his life, the family is asking you send Memorial tree donations to “Forest Ontario” where you can specify the local Riparian Tree Project or other places that may be special to you. https://forestsontario.ca/en/page/get-involved.
