Peacefully, with his loving wife by his side at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Linda (née DeMoor). Loving step-father to Greg Taylor (Gillian). Cherished step-grandfather of Brianna and Jayden. Loving brother of Gaetan (Denise). Will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Romeo and Reina (née Goulet) Ruest, his brothers Maurice (Eva) and Rheal (the Late Jeanine) and his sister Liette (Lionel Ranger).
The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 1:30 pm until time of Service in the Memorial Chapel at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Kidney Foundation or the OSPCA of SD&G appreciated.
