With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Linda, a beloved mother, grandmother (Mama) and sister. She passed away at the age of 74 years old on Friday March 28, 2025 surrounded by loved ones at Hospice Cornwall. Linda was a woman known for her generosity, kindness and free spirit. She found joy in love for her family, animals, a good euchre game and sharing her hobby of houseplants with “her girls”.
Loving mother of Jamie Day (Kimberly) and Trina Day (Eastwood). Treasured grandmother of Kyann (Steve), Jaymon (Tressa), Autumn and Ryne. Proud great-grandmother of Scotland, Landon, Carter, Emery, Adalynn and with one little one on the way. Dear sister of Ann Richards (late Bob), and Aunt to Meghan and Michael.
Predeceased by her parents David and Alexandrina (née Hill) Tyo, her cherished grandson Chance and special companion Leonel Prevost.
Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch on Monday April 7, 2025 at 10am until the time of service. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Memorial Chapel at 1:00pm.
The family would like to thank the staff at Carefor Hospice Cornwall for the compassionate care she received during her stay.
