Jean Comtois

COMTOIS, Jean Eleanor (Lashaway) – At Sandfield Place on Saturday January 24, 2015. She was 88. Loving wife of the late Ernest Comtois. Cherished mother of Veronica Corriveau (Tex), Roger (Suzanne), Francois (Kathy) and Suzanne Miller (Howard). Loving grandmother of Fernand (Brigitte), Armand (Paula), Maurice (Sylvie), Claude, Paul (Christine), Michael (Vanessa), Matthew (Tanyia), Mark (Natalie), Andrea, Nathan (Natalie) and Erika (Devin), and 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by one sister, Ruth Bough (late George). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Wilson and Della (Pearce) Lashaway, 2 great-granddaughters, Lorelei and Marissa, one brother, Earl Lashaway and one sister Velma Taylor (Bill). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Tuesday from 7 – 9pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Mass on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 11am. Rite of Committal at Nativity Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
