VAILLANCOURT, Irene Marie (née Gibeault) – passed away on November 22, 2022 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Stephen Vaillancourt. Dear stepmother of Jacqueline Henderson (late Joseph), Leona Vaillancourt (late John Habuda), Giselle Cadieux (Richard) and Lise Adshead (Dan). Loving grandma of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Survived by brother, Bernard Gibeault (Helene) and by sisters, Estelle Lapalme and Marie-Jeanna Pitre (René). Predeceased by her parents Bruno and Imelda (née Guertin) Gibeault, her brother Armand Gibeault (late Rollande) and by her sisters Angèle Papineau (late Ferdinand), Rhéa Provost (late Hector) and Atala Gratton (late Marcel). Arrangements are under the care and direction of Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, 614 First Street East, Cornwall, Ontario (613-933-2841). A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 in Paroisse Saint-Félix-de-Valois at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
