MATTICE, Hugh James – Peacefully, at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday May 10, 2014. At the age of 83.. Beloved husband of the late Marie (Lafave) Mattice and by a previous marriage, the late Marjorie (Benson) Mattice. Dear step-father of Diane Benton (Brian), Suzanne Sierens (Dan), Joanne Hurtubise (Norm), Carol-Ann Stang (Don), Betty-Ann Upson (Bill). Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren, Rodney (Angela), Stacey (James), Chris (Sarah), Ashley (Nick), Steven (Mandy), Jason (Ashley), Derek, Tina (Lance), Ryan, Chantal (Tyler), Joel (Marie-Eve), Jeremy (Hollie), Shawna, Victoria and 15 great grandchildren, Brady, Anneke, Mieke, Carter, Cooper, Colton, Claire, Mya, Hailey, Nate, Jaxen, Nevaeh, Sydney, Tanner and Ella. Also survived by one niece, Jennifer (Rob) and her daughters, Makenna and Kailyn. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Irene (Robinson) Mattice and one brother, Ken Mattice (Mildred). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Tuesday from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 -10:45am Funeral Wednesday May 14, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home, at 11am.
