RUEST, Geraldine (née Cross) – peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Romeo Ruest. Loving mommy of Judy-Ann Ruest-Wood (James), Rose-Marie Ruest, Alice Ciappara (Tim) and Vicki Ruest. Loving Oma, Grandma and Nana of Teresa, Cassandra, Tina, Michael, Jay, Patrick, Katrina and Sabrina. Cherished great-grandmother of fourteen. Survived by sisters Audrey Peterson (late Frank), Margaret Miller (Bert), Rita Veinot (Gary), Shirley Dagley (Roy) and Noreen Dagley (Ronnie). Predeceased by her parents and step-parents Gerald Cross (Beatrice) and Victoria Stiglitz (Benjamin). Aunt Gerry will be fondly remembered by multiple nieces and nephews. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, 614 First Street East, Cornwall, Ontario (613-933-2841) on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 1 p.m. until time of Service. A Memorial Service will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
