ROMANAUSKAS, FRED – Peacefully following a long and hard battle at Hospice Cornwall, on Friday August 10, 2018. He was 77. Beloved husband of 52 years of Julia (Laurinaitis) Romanauskas. Loving father of Sandra (Steve) of Ottawa, Michael (Steffi) of Hamburg, Germany, David of San Jose, California and Steven (Darlene) of Ile Perrot, Quebec. Cherished Papa, Opa of Nicholas, Hannah, Nina and Sean. Survived by 2 siblings, Florence Sangster (Charlie) of Bainsville and Henry Romanauskas (Alicia) of Montreal. Fred will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Otto and Adele Romanauskas. Family and friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (between 3rd and 4th St.) Cornwall, on Wednesday from 6-9pm and Thursday 9 am. Chapel service on Thursday August 16, 2018 at 11am. Rite of Commital at Notre Dame Cemetery to follow. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations (by cheque) to Hospice Cornwall or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
