POTTIE, Colin – passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Colin James Pottie at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of 62 years to Eleanor Pottie (née Lawn). Loving father of Krista Latella (Paul), Kelly Pottie-Ratayczak (Mark) and Nancy Pottie-Panizzon (Mario). Grandchildren Sarah Ratayczak and Connor Ratayczak will forever fondly remember their Papa. Elizabeth Aubin, Emily Aubin, Kyle Morris and Carson Morris will forever cherish their Grandpa. Survived by sister Patricia Moss (Gerry). Predeceased by his parents John and Edith (née Trew) Pottie and sister, Heather Pottie. Colin will be missed by his grand-puppies and grand-kitties. Arrangements entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Columban’s Parish on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and to the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
