MacDERMID, Betty Jean - At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday March 8, 2015 at age 92. Dear mother of Norman Esdon, Marjorie Smith (Doug), Bill Esdon and Roger Esdon (Denise). Dear step-mother of Judy Voth (Harry) and Margaret Merizzi (Nelson). Beloved grandmother of Greg, Kim, Lisa, Nadia, Dashia, Christopher, Ashley, and dear great grandmother of 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Wendel MacDermid; her husband from a previous marriage, Norman John Esdon; her sister, Marjorie Vallance and her parents, Stirling and Nina (Rombough) Vallance. Friends will be received at the M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday from 7 - 9pm and on Thursday from 10 – 10:45am. Funeral Thursday March 12, 2015 at 11am. Reverend Dan Hayward officiating. Committal in the spring at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault.
