Suddenly at home on January 17, 2017. André Bourgon of Cornwall; age 60 years. Beloved husband of Christine (nee Ostapczuk). Loving father of Andrew Mark Bourgon ( Joie Ouderkirk). Loving brother of Norman (Susan), Monique Desjardins (Yvan), Nicole Leese (Peter) and Lucie Bourck (Marcel) and sister-in-law Rhona Bourgon. Godfather of Marc Desjardins. Brother-in-law of Maria Dionne (Robert) and John Ostapczuk. Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Isabelle (nee Carriere) Bourgon and by brothers Jean and Yvon. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West, (613-932-8482) on Tuesday, January 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 9 am until time of Service. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 am.
As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
