William Randal Morgan

William Randal Morgan, 85, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

Services will be held Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Oakland Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Bostick officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 pm until service time at the church. Burial will be in Magnolia Gardens.

Randal was born September 2, 1939 to the late William Luther and Elizabeth Whirley Morgan. He was a lifelong member of Oakland Baptist Church where he was a member of the Men's Two Sunday school class. He was a graduate of Corinth High School. He enjoyed working on antique cars, Nascar, traveling to the Smoky Mountains and loved watching his grandchildren play ball.

Randal is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vivian Loretta Young Morgan; son, Tony Morgan (Pam); daughter, Tena Morgan Langley; grandchildren, Cassidy Camp (Tyler), Trevor Langley (Janna), Mason Morgan (Brianna), and Morgan Langley; great-grandchildren, Easton Langley, John Wallen Morgan, Vivian Camp; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pat and Jerry Hammett, Sara and Daniel Glidewell, Mary Ann Fett, Jimmy Dan Young (Barbara), and Gail Young; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Frances Elizabeth Morgan; and mother and father in-law, Grate and Frances Young.
