A Celebration of Life Service for Tommy L. “Big Daddy” Crum, 75, was held Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Leonard Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
Tommy died March 27, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born September 14, 1949 in Alcorn Co. MS. He was a 1968 graduate of Kossuth High School. He retired from World Color as a forklift driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. His greatest pleasure was watching his grandsons playing ball.
He was preceded in death by his father, Adron Crum; his mother, Gertrude Barnes Taylor; and special uncle, J.K. Crum.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Essary Crum; daughter, Jayme Herring (Brandon); special daughter, Sonya Mitchell; special son, Gavin Wood; grandchildren, Tyler, Eli, Maci, Gemma, James, Brantley, Taten and Adler; sister, Millie Mayo; nephew, Chris Rogers; niece, Haley Mayo; and a host of others that knew him as “Big Daddy”.
