Sara Huggins

Sara Wynona Huggins, 60, of Iuka, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at home surrounded by family. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 7:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 7:00 pm, Friday, May 12, 2023, at Airport Mission Baptist Church, 268 County Road 995, Iuka, MS 38852. Interment will be in Snowdown Cemetery, a family only event.

Sara enjoyed being outdoors, especially near the water. Nothing was more precious to Sara than quality time spent with her daughters, Misty and April, and her grandsons, Gage and Brandon.

She is survived by one daughter, Misty Huggins Rickman (Jason) of Corinth, MS; her mother, Anne Davis Huggins Walters of Florence, AL; four sisters, Kathy Huggins of Woodway, TX, Donna Huggins Walters (Lester) of Iuka, MS, Glenda Huggins Waldrop (Shonn) of Burnsville, MS and Bonnie Huggins Gamadanis (Mark) of Concord, NC; three brothers, Luid David Huggins, Jr. of Tupelo, MS, Barry Huggins of Concord, NC and Benji Huggins (Amber) of Concord, NC; and two grandsons, Brandon Lee Blair (Kristen) of Box Elder, SD and Gage Dexter Rickman of Corinth, MS.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, April LaDonna Huggins; her sister, Tina Annette Huggins Maxwell; her father, Luid David Huggins; and her grandparents, Alexander Stephen Davis and Annie Lou Borden Davis, John Marion Huggins and Nona Mae Bascomb Huggins.

Memorials may be sent to Snowdown Cemetery Fund.
