Graveside Services for Patricia Nell Smith will be Thursday August 22, 2024 at Corinth National Cemetery at 1pm. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time at Memorial Funeral. Bro Elliot Linhoss will officiate the service.

Patricia Nell (Rogers) Smith, known as Pat to her friends and family was born and raised in Corinth, MS. After getting married, she moved her family to Memphis, TN. She worked for Holiday Inn and Wang’s International in customer service. More than anything, she was a devout Christian and member of Elliston Baptist Church then Bartlett Hills Baptist Church where she was involved in the choir and the women’s ministry. Pat was called by God to be a prayer warrior and wholeheartedly participated in the act of praying for everyone she met. She loved reading the Bible and spending time with her family. She especially treasured her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a huge Elvis fan and was the president of an Elvis fan club in Corinth. She passed away August 17, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dewey Smith; parents, James Autry Rogers and Sue (Patterson) Rogers; her brothers, Larry Rogers and Rickey Rogers; and sisters, Lynette Crow and Deborah Tannery.

She is survived by her children, John Anthony Smith and Donna Nell LaRiviere (Darrell); two grandchildren, Scarlett (LaRiviere) Stafford (Aaron Rowberry) and Aria LaRiviere; great grandchildren, Eleanor Stafford and Addison Stafford; and two sisters, Joyce Crow and Shelia McMahan.
