Pamela Cheryl Grier Scott

A Celebration of Life for Pamela Cheryl Grier Scott, 75, is set for 1:00 P.M. Friday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors Chapel under the direction of Bro. Warren Jones.

Pamela died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield TN. She was born May 17, 1944 in North Carolina to the late Richard Alexander and Catherine Simpson Grier. She was a cheerleader and graduate of Corinth High School. She was Miss Hospitality representing Corinth in the State Contest of 1962-1963. She was a payroll clerk for Crye Leike Real Estate. Pamela enjoyed cooking delicious creations for friends and family alike. She loved to read but her greatest love was her grandkids and spoiling them.

Preceded in death by her parents, father of her children Edward Louis Byrom and son Bradley Alexander Byrom.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years Joseph Scott; son Joel Byrom (Angela) of Greenbrier, TN., daughter Beverly Elliot of Lancaster, PA; daughter in law, Michelle Byrom of Lancaster, PA; brothers, Mike Grier (Stacie) and Rick Grier (Annelle) of Corinth; grandchildren Cynthia Griffin (Justin) and Tyler Byrom of Lancaster, PA; Hannah Woodruff (Cody), Isaac Byrom, Jonah Byrom of Nashville, TN; great-grandchild, Charlotte Griffith, Georgia Griffin and Penelope Byrom; best friend, Milton Butler; special friends Corinth High School Class of 1962.

A special thank you to The Secret Sisters for allowing us to use their song Healer In The Sky for the memorial service.

Family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 until service time.
