Margaret Dunn

A service to celebrate the life of Margaret Dunn, 75, will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oaks Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time. Bro. Jared Hight and Bro. Brian Davis will officiate the service.

Margaret passed away on February 26, 2024 at her residence. She was born June 29, 1948 in Alcorn County to the late Merle and Mildred Heathcock Thompson. She worked at ITT, head start, and as a caretaker, but mostly was a homemaker. She was a strong Christian woman who loved God. She enjoyed being outside, gardening, fishing, and animals; however, her true joy came from being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Lee Dunn; sons, Mike Suitor (Angie), Ronald Dunn (Casey) and Marty Dunn; daughters, Stacy Dunn and Leigh Ann Bullington (Ray); grandchildren, Makayla Brawner (Jonathan), Kyle Suitor (Amber), Kadin Dunn, Kahne Dunn, Kaison Dunn, Monte Dunn (Victoria), Justyn Fry, Trey Montgomery, Autumn Walker (Daniel), Will Beecham (Kaitlyn), Lilianna Beecham, Grant Bullington, Emme Bullington, Kayle Hight, Dylan Hight and Chase Peterson (Hannah); 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Danny Thompson and Larry Thompson; sister, Shirley Gates; and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons, James Todd Dunn and Randle Dewayne Suitor and daughter, Anna Irene Dunn.
