James Chappelle and Ann Chappelle

Ann Byrd Chappelle, 77, died October 15, 2023 at her residence in Corinth, MS. She was born October 27, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to the late Calvin and Louise Byrd. Ann was a graduate of Corinth High School and Northeast MS Community College. She was a retired registered nurse and an active member of First Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Austin Chappelle; daughter, Carole Chappelle Heavener; and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Edmonson; son, Jay Chappelle (Carrie); grandchildren, Emma Beth Arnold (Ben), Frances Ann Edmonson, Mary Helen Edmonson, Olivia Louise Edmonson, Lilah Paige Edmonson, Anna Claire Chappelle, Ethan Chappelle; and great grandchildren, Elliott Arnold and Margot Arnold.

A Family and Friends Gathering for Ann and James will be held Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 2:30 at Memorial Funeral Home.
