Jackie Kitchens Ross

A service to celebrate the life of Jackie Kitchens Ross, 72, will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday October 3, 2024 at McPeters Funeral Directors Chapel with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until service time. Rev. Waring Porter will officiate the service.

Jackie passed away on September 25, 2024 at her residence. She was born on August 31, 1952 to the late Jack Donald and Myrtle Curtis Kitchens. She was a graduate of Corinth High School and attended Mississippi State University. She was a hair stylist for many years and later traveled the country in a truck with her late husband, Larry. She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church where she was active in the choir, taught Sunday school and was a cub scout leader.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph Michael Kitchens McCahill and Jacob Michael Kitchens McCahill; step-daughter, Kristen Ross Hubbard (Al); granddaughter, Abbigail Mackenzie McCahill; aunts, Linda Kitchens Pratt (Jerry) and Jane Kitchens Murphy (Tommy); cousins, Gerald McLemore (Nancy), Dr. Curt McLemore (Tanya), Rita Moffett and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pallbearers for the services will include Greg Moore, Randy Long, Lex Mitchell, Jr., Lex Mitchell, Sr., Jeff williams and Jake McCahill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ross.
