Vincent F. Russo

Russo, Vincent F., 86, of Sunrise, passed away November 15, 2013. Vincent was born May 30, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Rosario and Anna (Biondo) Russo. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a loyal employee of 40 years for the U.S. Post Office. Vincent was very athletic. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, racquetball, stick ball and tennis. He and his wife, Betty, enjoyed traveling, making many trips to Accupulco, Las Vegas, Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas and much of the Caribbean. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 67 years, Betty, children, Anna Russo, Rosario Russo, grandchildren, John (Jennifer) Sweeney, Michael (Fran) Blunk, Vincent Blunk, Vincent Russo, Ryan Russo, great grandchildren, Savannah Sweeney, Gabriel Sweeney, Sofia Blunk, Michaela Blunk and his brother, Benjamin (Gloria) Russo. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 20, 2013, 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00pm and Thursday, November 21, 2013, 9:00 - 11:00am at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1655 University Drive, Coral Springs. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00am on Thursday, November 21, 2013.
