Shawna Curtis-Ryan

August 21, 2022, at the age of thirty-seven years.

Shawna is survived by her four children Gabriel, Madelen, Jameson, and Olivia: Her father Brian

Curtis, brother Rory Curtis, and grandfather James Curtis. She is preceded in death by her

mother Gale Lynne Curtis who left us in 2001 at the early age of forty-three.

Shawna was born on October 4th, 1984, in Plantation, FL to Brian and Gale Curtis. She grew up

in Coral Springs, and graduated Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2003. After

graduating, Shawna relocated to Tennessee where she met and married George Ryan, and

together welcomed three beautiful children. Shawna later returned to Florida where she

remained until her passing.

Shawna was a bright light who made friends easily and maintained lifelong meaningful

relationships with those she touched. Shawna worked for the Palmdale Oil Team where she

made a significant impact and important contribution, while being recognized as a rising star

within the company.

Shawna was an amazing force and personality who left us far too early. Her incredible spirit will

live on in all of us, and through her beautiful children, for ever and ever.

A Memorial Life Celebration is scheduled for October 1, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral

Home in Coral Springs. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be

established to benefit the health and well-being of Shawna’s Children. Donations may be sent

in care of Brian Curtis 4320 NW 106 Ave Coral Springs, FL 33065.
