Rachel Raymonde Duval

Mrs. Raymonde Duval was born Rachel Raymonde Germain on January 17th, 1926, on Rue Gregoire, in Petionville, Haiti. She married Rene Duval and had nine children. In 1965, at the age of 39, she left Haiti for the United States to find a better life for her children. She worked tirelessly to send for her children and her husband. She gave them all an amazing opportunity for a better life in America.

Raymonde was surrounded by her loving family as she watched them grow and succeed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rene Duval.

Raymonde leaves a legacy of love and dedication, her surviving siblings, Ludovic, Lola, and Joseph. She also leaves her five daughters, Claudette (Hens), Juliette (Lionel), Irene, Lucie and Sophie (Orson), Four sons, Hens(Anne), Joubert (Sabine), Richard (Lorette) and Eugene (Marie-Lourde), her twenty-one grandchildren, Carla, Cindy, Rachel, Randy, Claude, Ingrid (William),Margalie, Alain (Staci), Cassandra, Kimani, Maisha, Fabien, Jonathan, Sarah, Shannon, Nora, Tamara, Kim(Adil), Jude, Theodore, Sophie and five great-grandchildren, Ashley, William, Edward, Ava and Brixton.

Raymonde was a dedicated mother that gave all to her children. She will be remembered for her sensibility, kindness, generosity, and spirit. Raymonde will live on forever in our hearts.
