Michael John Gargano, age 98 died on July 29, 2020 in his home in Margate Florida. Michael was a veteran of World War 2 and obtain the rank of staff sergeant. He trained officers for the Army Air Corp in Miami, FL and South Dakota. After the war, Michael worked for Mergenthaler Linotype and was a foreman, shop Stewart and active union member.
Michael is survived by his wife of 73 years Frances Marie Gargano his children, Michael Gargano, wife Katie, Bill Gargano wife Lisa and his grandchildren, Chaz Gargano wife Becca, Paige Mitchell husband Andrew, Elle Gargano, and Frances Gargano. Michael was born on November 4, 1921 in Brooklyn New York to Carmine and Angelina Gargano He is proceeded in death by his parents and siblings.
A funeral is scheduled for 11:30 AM Saturday August 1st at St Vincent Depaul Catholic Church in Margate Fl.
