He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on October 22, 1935. Hector is survived by his wife Aida Santiago Villanueva whom he was married to for 53 wonderful years. They married in Bayamon Puerto Rico in 1960 and lived there until 1992 when they relocated to Margate, Florida. Together they have three children: Aileen French of Charleston, SC; Angie Cintron of Boca Raton, Florida; and Hector Villanueva Jr. of Marietta, Georgia. He is also survived by six loving grandchildren: Jessenia Compton, Alana French, Joseph Cintron, Alyssa Cintron, Elaine Villanueva and Leanne Villanueva.
Hector was an avid fisherman, loved to bowl with his friends and
never missed a chance to take his wife dancing. He was also the #1 fan of the sport of baseball.
Hector was the third child of the late Jose and Maria Villanueva and survived by five siblings: brothers Jose, Roberto, Tony and Juan Villanueva and sister Anita Gomez.
Hector will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
