Frederick is survived by wife Angela Case; children, James (Beibi) Coscia, Theresa (Keith) Mayo, Dina (John) Sitomer, and Frederick (Stacy) Case III; grandchildren, K.J., Joey, Michael and Coby Mayo, Justin Sitomer, and Mickey Case. He is preceded in death by sister Constance, and brothers Patrick and Anthony, all of Troy, New York.
Fred was born on January 9,1943 in Troy, New York to Frederick and Theresa Case. He graduated from Troy High School in 1961 as a standout 3-sport athlete. He married Angela Maria Merola, in 1965. Fred worked successfully in sales for virtually his entire life, beginning with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Troy and Massena, N.Y., and then with Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company in New York and New Jersey. In addition, Fred coached football for many years in Troy and New Jersey at the Pop Warner and high school levels.
The couple welcomed four children into their home, and Fred was always passionately involved in each of his children’s sports and activities. His children remember him as a dedicated family man with a huge personality, and even bigger heart…a larger than life Father, who was always happiest when seated at the head of the dinner table and surrounded by his entire family for a big Italian Sunday feast.
Fred loved to travel, often visiting extended family in Italy. He was also an avid golfer, and diehard fan of the New York Yankee and Giants. He was an active and dedicated member of the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Parkland, FL.
