Lura worked as a store manager for over 25 years in retail sales, where she never met a stranger. She was the most generous, loving, giving, selfless and strong person we have ever known. She was a loving mother, nana and will be missed by all her family and many friends.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Lucas of Kempner; daughter, Amanda Falk and husband Cliff Pinkerton; sister, Melissa Steinmetz and husband Mike Steinmetz; 12 grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sharon and Susan Lucas; brothers, Robert and Michael White; sisters, Judy and Teresa White and both her parents.
Her family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove on April 15, 2022. Her family will be having a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
