Thomas Allan Gantt

Thomas (Tommy) Allan Gantt, 17, of Coppell passed away on Saturday April 4, 2015 at 3pm after a two year battle with Cancer. A reception and rosary will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Restland Funeral Home in Coppell. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Coppell followed by a short reception and a graveside service at the Rolling Oaks Memorial Center in Coppell.

Tommy was born in March 11, 1998 in Orlando, Florida to Veronica Loftus and William Gantt.

After moving to Valley Ranch and Coppell at the age of 1 ½, he attended Austin Elementary, Coppell Middle School East and Coppell High School.

He was an active member at Church, school, and in the community.

At St. Ann, he loved being part of the worshiping community and looked forward to learning about the love of God in the High School Ministry.

Attending CMSE, he enjoyed being a member of the Bronco’s Football Team and also the Band’s Percussion group. While at Coppell High School, he loved being a member of the Basketball Team.

The family wishes to thank the following for their uplifting support during Tommy’s battle; St Ann Church Community, Fr Henry Petter, Fr Orlando Cardozo, Fr Anthony Sortino, St Ann Rebecca’s Rosary, St Ann Mothers of Young Children, St Ann High School Ministry, Coppell High School Basketball Team, and the City of Coppell.

He is survived by his blended family of mother, Rocio Veronica Loftus Hebert; stepfather, Raoul (Andy) Hebert; father, William Thomas Gantt; stepmother, Miriam Gantt; brothers, William Gantt and Connor Hebert; sisters, Tatiana Gantt, Andrea Hebert, Melissa Hebert and Mariana Gantt; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family suggests memorial contributions for final expenses can be delivered to 142 London Way, Coppell TX 75019.
