Steven Wayne Anderson

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM January 19, 2016, at Foust & Son Funeral Home, 523 South Main Street, Grapevine, TX 76051. 817-481-2525. Steven Wayne Anderson (Steve) was called home to the Lord on December 29, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident. Steve was born on June 15, 1961, in Granite Falls, MN where he graduated from high school in 1979. He was baptized and confirmed at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Southwest Minnesota State University. He lived in Flower Mound, Texas since 2001 and was employed by Crossmark in Plano, Texas. Steve was a devoted partner and husband to Joyce and a loving father to his children Jack, Blaine and Alana. He had many interests including boating, gardening and grilling in the back yard. His greatest love and priority was spending time with his children and family. Steve was always willing to help a neighbor or friend in their time of need. He will be deeply missed in this world by his family and friends and heaven will be graced with his quick-witted humor and loving care for others. Steve was preceded in death by his parents Leland and Margaret (Muggs) Anderson of Granite Falls, MN and his sister Cathy Paulson of Hazel Run, MN. He is survived by his wife Joyce, his children Jack, Blaine and Alana, his brother Michael Anderson of Indianapolis, IN, his in-laws Alice and Rick Griego of Grapevine, TX, his sisters-in-law and brothers in-law, Terry and Mary Paulson of Hazel Run, MN, Suzann and David Bynum of Bedford, TX, Arlene and Ron Mosiniak of Mansfield, TX and his Goddaughter Aubrie Bynum of Bedford, TX. Other nieces and nephews include Tony Paulson (Angie) of Granite Falls, MN, Katie Paulson (Ben) of Maynard, MN, Jolene Ziegler (Joe) of Litchfield, MN, Alexa Bynum of Bedford, TX, AliceAnn and Amelia Mosiniak of Mansfield, TX, along with several aunts, great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for Steve’s children. Donations may be made to Steve’s children at Chase Bank c/o Alice Griego, Trustee - Account #: 3046787080. The grace and love of God now shines in all our hearts for having known Steve as a loving son of God to us all.
