Robert Kenneth Reedy Jr.

He graduated from Grapevine High School in Grapevine, TX and continued on with his education to receive a Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Texas State and his Master's Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Rob's professional career spanned 3 decades with GTE, Verizon, TXU and FedEx where he held positions in Financial planning, Analytics, Pricing and Sourcing. Rob had a passion for baseball where he spent many years coaching his sons’ baseball teams in Coppell, TX. He was very proud of his many years teaching the great game and took teams across the country including multiple trips to Cooperstown, NY. Rob also spent time with the Texas Rangers in their youth baseball program. Rob was an avid Oakland Raider fan and a proud member of the Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Rob is survived by his two loving sons, Nathan Robert Reedy and Brendan James Reedy, mother Patricia Bridget (Kelly) Reedy, his only brother James Michael Reedy and his wife Yong Swearengin, Rob’s former wife Kristene Reedy as well as many cousins and good friends.

Rob is preceded in death by his father, Robert K Reedy Sr.

The Celebration of Life service for Rob will be held at 5:00 PM on June 10, 2019 at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home in Coppell, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Rob's name at St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
