Grace Kai-Hui Chen

Grace Kai-Hui Chen was born on December 8, 2006 in Irving Texas. She was a beacon of joy and light, illuminating the lives of everyone she touched. She was the sweetest, kindest and most caring angel among us. Her infectious smile, loving spirit, and generous heart inspired people all around her.

Grace found her greatest joy in serving the Lord, spreading His love and helping others. She had a special gift in connecting with children and elders, bringing laughter, blessings and even Grace’s style mischief to every situation. She was an active member of NLGC where she served in youth ministry, children ministry and short-term mission trips. Her faith was her cornerstone, and she lived it out boldly, loving the Lord with all her heart, mind, soul and strength.

Grace was an exceptional athlete, playing in multiple sports throughout her school years. She was always full of energy and enjoyed competing in soccer and basketball, both for her school and club teams. Her fearless spirit and adventurous heart led her to conquer the mountain slopes as a passionate snowboarder.

Grace's passion was living life to the fullest and helping people around her. She loved hiking, exploring the great outdoors, and experiencing the beauty of God's creation. Her free-spirited nature inspired everyone around her to be more present, courageous, and loving.

Grace is survived by her loving family, including her parents, Connie & Michael Chen; brother, Christopher K Chen; grandparents, Wenying & Jiandong Chen; many uncles, aunts, cousins; precious Husky, Snowy and a community of devoted friends who will deeply miss her radiant presence.

As we mourn the loss of our beloved Grace, we take comfort in the beautiful memories of her shining spirit, unwavering faith, and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy will live on in our hearts, inspiring us to continue serving, loving, and living with the same pure joy that she embodied every day for the Lord. We look forward to the day we meet her face to face again!
