It is with unbelievable sadness that we mourn the loss of an incredible soul. Felix Alberto Alvis was born to Alberto and Candida Alvis in Manhattan, NY on March 6, 1939. He was a man of very few words but always knew what to say when needed. He served in the United States Air Force and was a mechanic in the 464th Troop Carrier Wing stationed at Pope AFB. He was a very loving man who worked hard for his family as a machinist. He loved with his whole heart and everyone knew it. He will be eternally missed, but his beautiful spirit will be carried on by the many, many lives he touched. He is survived by his wife Joanne, his sister Gloria, brother Jorge, his six children Rita (Takota), Teresa (Randy), Joseph, Anthony (Jennifer), Vincent (Jennifer), and Felicia (Tom), his five grandchildren Errol (Felisha), Emelina, Katerina, Mackenzie and Thomas, two great grandchildren Messiah and Noah, and many special nieces and nephews. The service at this time is going to be private.
