Anthony M. Casaretti

Anthony M. Casaretti, a beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on September 9, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY, Anthony's journey through life was marked by dedication, passion, and a deep love for his family and interests.

A proud US Navy Veteran, Anthony served with distinction from 1969 to 1973. His commitment to service was a testament to his strong character and sense of duty. After his naval service, Anthony channeled his meticulous nature into his cherished hobby of bonsai tree cultivation. His garden was a testament to his patience and creativity, reflecting the same care he extended to those around him.

Anthony was a devoted family man, survived by his loving wife, Savina Casaretti. He is also survived by his siblings: Ronald (Shelly) Casaretti, Virginia (Jim) Callahan, and Edward (Joanne) Casaretti. Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Marie Casaretti, as well as his brother Victor Casaretti. He will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephew, who were fortunate to have known his warmth and generosity.

In addition to his family, Anthony's two dogs, Benny and Geena, were his faithful companions and brought immense joy to his life. His affection for them was a reflection of his loving nature and ability to find happiness in life's simple pleasures.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:30 pm and 7:00 to 9:30 pm. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening at 8:00 pm. A private cremation will follow the services, honoring Anthony's wishes.

Anthony M. Casaretti will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through the lives he touched and the legacy he leaves behind. May he rest in peace.
