Mr. Laurendi was retired and enjoying life with his wife, Barbara. He served proudly, and is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Anthony and daughter-in-law, Kathleen; and Robert and daughter-in-law, Caroline; his five grandchildren - Cody, Kayleen, Adriana, Olivia and Andrew; his sister, Matilda Cherney and his brother, Joseph Laurendi. Predeceasing him in death is his wife, Rose; and his brothers, Natale and Frank.
Family and friends will gather at the D'Andrea Bros. Funeral Home on Thursday, March 29th, from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30 p.m. On Friday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Copiague. Mr. Laurendi will be interred at St. Charles Cemetery following church services.
