Ron was the nicest man a person could ever know. He had a special way with numbers and could recall them without hesitation. Family was special! We had so many conversations about sports, work, and family. Thursday Breakfast Club will never be the same! Miss you so much.

Dear Ron:
I hope you knew how special you were to me.  Every special childhood memory I have has you in it.  You were my champion, in so many ways.
Your compassionate nature, the quiet sense of humor, and your intelligence made you the one I looked up to and respected the most.
The realization that I cannot just pick up the phone and call you is incredibly sad.  I will miss us exchanging kids and grandkids stories.  I will miss hearing the love and pride in your voice when talking about Kevin and Heidi or Dan and Jara or Andrew, Ella and Riley.  Family was everything to you and what a wonderful family you have.
Rest In Peace Ron, knowing that you will forever be in our hearts, to never be forgotten.

Very sorry to hear about Ron. He was a great guy, and I know he will be missed.

Ron was the alternate on our trap team.  He wasn't asked to be the alternate, he was told he would be there if one the team members couldn't make it to league.  Although Ron didn't like guns or even own one, he was always there when we needed him.  At the trap range Ron would try to explain to us that when bowling you could see why you'd miss a strike or why you didn't pick up a spare because you could see the path of the ball.  In trap shooting he couldn't see why he missed the bird.  He couldn't see if he was above, below, to the right or left of the bird.  Ron would shoulder his gun, call for the bird and follow and follow and follow the flight of the bird until just before it would hit the ground, BOOM and a miss.  So someone suggested maybe he should shoot a little quicker and on the next bird Ron calls PULL and BOOM he shot the trap house.  You had to be there, I'm glad I was.  Ron was one of the nicest guys I've ever met and will be missed by everyone who knew him.  I forgave Ron for calling me a Hayseed, because I grew up in southern Minnesota.

Ron was a great friend both on and off the job.  He was the best bowler and worst trap shooter I ever saw.  Ron had a fantastic memory, able to recall a 7 digit number a week after he’d seen it and, of course, he never forgot a friend.  Ron was always fun, competitive, kind, encouraging and compassionate.  He truly cared for the people he knew and would not hesitate to help them in any way he could.  He was also the undisputed president of our Thursday coffee club and I will miss him dearly.

Stand up guy. He always had his fellow worker's best interests in mind.

Great guy, will be missed, maybe one most most patient people I ever met.
