Mary Ann Gray

Ms. Gray was born April 14, 1935 in Caledonia, MN to Erma Mae (Rottman) and Leo J. Schmitz, Sr.

Mary Ann married Robert L. Gray on May 12, 1956. They made their home in St. Paul for 3 years, then the remainder of their married life in Blaine, MN. She was employed at Webb Publishing Company in St. Paul 5 years, Terado Co. 3 years, Pacific Gamble Robinson, Mpls 1 ½ years. After a couple years off she worked at American Hoist & Derrick Company for 25 years, and after the company moved to SC, she worked at MSI Insurance Co for 11 years. Being an energetic person, she worked at several stores in Northtown Shopping Mall for a couple of years. She then retired and spent those remaining years with Bob.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Charlene Gidanian and Sheryl Davison, her son Thomas (Diane) Gray; seven grandchildren, Kate (Andrew) Schmitz, David/Sarah/Hannah/Nathaniel Gidanian, Erik-Jon Davison and Michael Motl; one great grandchild, Jacob Motl. Also survived by 3 brothers Leroy, Leo, Jr. (Connie) Lloyd, and 1 sister Sharon, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents, a daughter Linda, and brothers Quentin, Gerald, Wayne Sr., and Lawrence; and sister Rosemary.

A Private Family Service will be held at Gearhart Funeral Home in Coon Rapids. Interment at Morningside Cemetery at Coon Rapids, MN. Pall bearers will be Erik John Davison, Maverick Schmitz, Wayne Klemz, David Gideon, Terry Schmitz, and Michael Motl.
