Richard Larry Hawkins

Richard L. Hawkins, age 65, of Conyers, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25th, at Heritage Hills Baptist Church, at 2:00 p.m. (in-state at 1:00 p.m.), with Pastor Doug Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens, in Stockbridge.

A native of Jacksonville, FL, Mr. Hawkins worked for Utility Trailer Sales of GA. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Sally J. Hawkins, of Conyers; sons, Richard Christian Hawkins, of Conyers, Hershel Jacob & Tiffany Hawkins, of Winder, David Benjamin & Fernanda of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Lauren S. Hawkins, Jacob P. Hawins and E. Claire Hawkins; sisters, Marian Dingle, of Jacksonville, FL and Janette & Ralph Simmons, all of Jacksonville, FL; 4 nieces & 1 nephews. Sally said Richard was the love of her life and her heart goes with him.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Joann Shelley and parents, Hershel & Juanita Hawkins.
