Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Yvonne Holst; two grandsons, Connor Holst and David Holst and sister-in-law, Mary Foster.
Fred leaves behind his wife Sheila of 43 years, three sons, Paul (Jennifer) Holst of Conway, Arkansas, Kyle (Jennifer) Holst of Mayflower, Arkansas and Bradley (Adriana) Holst of Mayflower, Arkansas, and five grandchildren, Madison, Lucas, Oliver, Hayden, and Emma. Two brothers in law, Ron Foster of Savannah, TN and Rick (Julie) Foster of Roseville, IN. Two sisters in law, Brenda (Paul) Carroll of Beaufort, SC and Cindy (Eddie) Hill of Mayflower, AR. Fred leaves behind many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Fred has served as pastor to many churches throughout Arkansas and Missouri as well as youth and music minister. He is a member of Central Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas. Fred also worked at JC Penney and Faulkner County for many years. Fred loved spending time with his family and the light of his life was his grandchildren. No matter how bad he felt they could bring a smile to his face. He loved to joke and tease with those around him. And he will be missed by all who knew him. He fought the good fight and is now rejoicing in heaven.
The family will be receiving friends and family at the home 27 Holst Loop, Mayflower on Wednesday.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Conway followed by a funeral service celebrating Fred's life at 2:00 p.m.
