Theresa Lucy Nuss

She married Michael Nuss III on November 11, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan. Theresa was a housewife until the family moved to Texas in 1982. She then began working at Markman Brothers Investments for many years as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager until her retirement. “Nanny” enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren and loved to play Bingo. She also had fun playing pinochle on the computer.

She is preceded in death by her husband Michael, parents Boleslaw and Harriet (Kozlowska) Zalechowski, brother John (Jack) Zalechowski, sister Pearl Zelechowski, sister and brother-in-law Jane and Joe Odorowski, sister and brother-in-law Loretta and Walter Bonczar and son-in-law James Cahill.

Surviving are her children, Alan of Jonesboro, Georgia, Dale (Genevera) of Westland, Michigan, Richard (Cheryl) of Spring, Texas, Gerald (Anna) of Kenockee, Michigan, Theresa (William) Burns of Katy, Texas, and Cheryl Cahill of Hockley, Texas. Theresa is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
