Shannon Ashley Hopper

Shannon was born in Conroe, Texas on April 12, 1986 and was a lifelong Spring/Woodlands area resident. She graduated from Hauke High School then went on to follow her passion and became a licensed esthetician and freelance makeup artist.

She is survived by her mother and step father, Leah Kimberley and Thomas David Gibson of Spring; father Benny Gene Hopper of Galveston, and step father Kenneth Franklin Weemes of Spring. Brother Daniel Reece Hopper of Spring, sister and brother in law Jessica Ann and Mark McGilvray of Katy, sister Hannah Michelle Weemes of Spring, brother James Edward Weemes of Spring, brother William Taylor Stamper of Brenham. Grandparents Leah Carmen Blakley of the Woodlands, Peggy Marie Hopper of Port Bolivar, Franklin and Phylis Weemes of Willis; Her beloved Madison Perry along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and step family members.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Robert Lewis Blakley of Spring and Billy Lee Hopper of Port Bolivar.

Shannon was a beautiful outgoing soul that loved her family and friends, all animals and never met anyone that she called a stranger. Her contagious smile and infectious laugh drew everyone to her.

Service will be held Saturday, June 17th at 2 PM at Cashner Funeral Home at 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303. Tim Byrd will officiate.
