Sam was born on April 24, 2000 to parents Thomas Charles and Janelle Kay. He attended School and lived in the Conroe area his entire life.
Sam loved his three older brothers and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He liked fishing, rock collecting, stargazing, traveling, and playing video games. He had a special flare for cooking and enjoyed making his own special sauces. Many knew him as “Chef Sam”.
Sam was a passionate person who marched to the beat of his own drum. He shared his love and knowledge and did his part to save the planet.
Above all, if you knew Sam, you knew he would give you the shirt off his back. He would do whatever he could to bring a smile or laughter to someone else’s life. This was truly the gift of Sam.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Molly Gray Hoke, and brothers Thomas Charles and William Montgomery Murray.
He is survived by his parents Tom and Janelle, brother James Murray and fiancé Jordan Farley, and grandparents Ed and Grace Murray. Numerous other family and a host of friends are also left to treasure his memory.
A celebration of life will occur at Metcalf Funeral Directors Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00am with a visitation one our prior at 1801 E. White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX. An interment will follow at Bays Chapel Cemetery, Richards, Texas.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Miller, Michael Miller, Bryan Coffman, Amos Johnson, Patrick Connor, Avery Miller, Brandon Defendall, and Logan Layco.
