Russell Warren

Russell Warren, 92 of Montgomery passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. He was born on May 19, 1929 in Williamston, North Carolina to Howard and Maybell Warren. Russell loved to travel in his RV with his wife and was a member of Mims Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Elsie Edmondson Warren, daughter, Kathy Ann Warren, step-children, Michael Fred Douglas and Michele Yvonne Douglas, grandson David Wayne Duty, siblings Jimmy Warren, Mary Elizabeth Van Landingham, Howell Warren, Jr., Sandra Gale Warren, and Wallace R. Warren.

Russell is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Joyce Warren, children Patricia Duty (Patrick) and Wayne Warren (Belinda), step-son Steven Paul Douglas (Rachel), step daughter-in-law Elisha Douglas; Grandchildren, Kristi Kay Warren, Bryan Dale Duty, Kevin Duty, Travis Wayne Warren, and Jennifer Ann Duty, step-grandchildren John Michael Douglas, Jesse Benjamin Douglas, and Sienna Michelle Douglas, 9 great grandchildren, one great great grandson,and sister Nellie Faye Altman.

Funeral services will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 14th at 2:00 p.m. with visitation to begin an hour prior. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
