Richard Charles Nevitt

Rick, age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2020. He was born on November 13, 1943, in Houston, Texas. He was raised by his loving parents William and Letha Marguerite Sheffield with his brother Mike.

He will be remembered for his big heart, love for his family, and sense of humor. He enjoyed a life of retirement, where he spent his time with his grandchildren, after many years shoeing horses, roping, and working for Harris County. His outgoing personality, his determination, his compassion and his ability to make you feel like the most important person in the room will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna; daughter Samantha and husband Derric; daughters Stevi and husband Richard, Ricki, and their mother, Kathy; seven grand-children, Christopher, Paxton and husband Bret, Erica, Reid, Nicholas, Hank, and Wes; and one soon-to-be great-grandson, Alan.

We will celebrate Rick’s life at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2:00.
