Phyllis Annette White, was born in Aberdeen, Mississippi to Hansell and Dorothy Brown on December 21, 1941. She was the oldest of six siblings. Phyllis met the love of her life, Stephen White, walking home from school. They would marry the following year in 1958. They would remain together till the passing of Stephen on September 14, 2008. Just three months short of their 50th anniversary. Their union would produce four children, Steve, Jr., Hansell LaVoyce, Lou Cinda Annette, and Timothy Todd. Phyllis would be blessed with 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Stephen, son Timothy, brothers Ronnie Brown and Michael Brown, sister Diann Reese and grandson Jesse. She is survived by brother, Tex Brown and wife Barbara of West Point, MS, sister, Mary K. Brown and husband Roy of Amory, Miss., son, Hansell L., daughter, Lou Cinda, and son, Steve Jr. and wife Terri.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 2:00pm in Cashner Colonial Hall with visitation beginning one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
