Mike was the world’s biggest OU fan. He enjoyed cooking for others and keeping his yard pristine and beautiful with flowerbeds of red and white flowers. Mike was also known for his crawfish boils which inspired him to fabricate crawfish boilers. His dream was to open a seafood restaurant; we all knew it would be the best! Mike would always sponsor the Willis community, especially the football and volleyball teams, as well as the Allegiance Volleyball team. Together, Mike and Tiffani opened Divine Lighting & Fabrication in 2001, where Mike would give people a second chance in the workforce. He loved to help people grow and succeed. He mentored many people and was a great leader and blessed us with morning Bible studies for employees.
Mike loved Jesus and was a good and faithful servant. He was always self-sacrificing and loved giving to others. Mike loved his family and was extremely proud of his children. He loved to surprise Tiffani with unexpected gifts and treasures.
Mike is preceded in death by His Parents, Charles and Patricia. Mike leaves behind his loving wife of nearly 30 years, Tiffani, children Hillary Gonzalez and husband Michael, Dallas Krest and wife Lauren, and Makenzie Hooks and husband Cody, grandchildren, Madison, Riley, and Hudson Gonzalez, sisters, Kathy Howell and husband John, and Mary Goleman, brothers, Charles Krest and wife Candy, and Richard Krest, In laws, Ruth Mahaffey and Ken Mahaffey, brother-in law Taylor Mahaffey and wife Keely, and numerous nieces and nephews.
