Margie Ingle Martin was born May 2, 1934, in Richmond, Texas, to Lee Roy and AD Ingle.
Margie married the love of her life, Paul Martin, in January 1951 in Houston, Texas. They began their family and then moved to Conroe. Margie worked at many different places, like Motion Industries, and owned her own macrame and art shop; she worked at Foley’s until her retirement in 1993.
Margie was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Some of Margie's hobbies included painting, cooking, playing games, and spending time with family and friends.
Margie is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Paul Martin, son Roy Dale Martin Sr., Granddaughter Ginny Kay Jones, parents Lee Roy and AD Ingle, Brother James Ingle, and sister Ruby Engle.
Margie leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Paulette Martin Jones of Coldspring; grandchildren, Tammy & husband, Jason Caldwell of Coldspring, Tommy Jones of Coldspring, Tina & husband, Chris Campbell of Shephard, Roy Dale & wife; Melanie Martin, Jr of Cypress; Eight Great Grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Kayli, Brooke, Michael, Tamara, Matthew, and Marleigh; sisters-in-law’s, Jane Waymire of Orange County, Ca and Louise Ingle of Conroe, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews who loved her so much.
A special Thank You to Mary’s Blessings Residental Home Sally Mariscal and her Husband, the whole staff, and Oasis Hospice Care for caring for Momma Margie in her final days.
A visitation for Margie will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas. A celebration of life will occur Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM, 1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas. A graveside service and interment will occur Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Conroe Memorial Park, 1600 Porter Rd, Conroe, Texas. Pallbearers will be Jason Caldwell, Justin Caldwell, Brandon Caldwell, Roy Martin Jr, Matthew Martin and Michael Martin.
